What will the 5 modules Include:
Module 1 : Marketing
We will take a look at your linkedin and website. I will audit it to give you advice on best practices on how to improve your website and linkedin.
Don't worry if you do not have a website, I have someone who can help (this is an outside referral. I don't get paid for the referral or charge for that service).
If you don't have a Linkedin don't fret -- we can fix that pretty easily.
Module 2 : Skills conversion and Applying Interest
1)We will do a really deep dive into the skills it takes to manage a government contracting agency. So you can start to think about who or if you need to hire within ( trust me, it's better to know than to find out the hard way.)
2) How you can lend your skills to other industries in an impactful and profitable way
3) Subcontracting VS Prime : What you need to know.
Goal : You will walk away with a clear understanding of what you will do or delegate.
Module 3: Knowledge Application
You will come to the zoom meeting with at least 5 RFPs. They can be ones you are "ready to apply to" or ones you are "curious about". You do NOT have to niche down, at all.
During this meeting, we will complete checklists for all of them to help you decide if/when you will apply to them.
Goal : Get you organized for success and start filling in the proposal template best you can
Module 4 : Proposal Creation + Pricing
In real time, we will be filling out proposal(s) and working throw the different components like adding a subcontractor, compiling information in the correct order, and making sure you've answered all of the questions to the best of your ability

Module 5: Contract Award Best Practices and Relationship Management
1)Not all contracts are created equally or the same. We go over some "must haves" for the contract i.e. understanding how you will be paid, what your deliverables are + the rate you need to deliver, if you have to travel how often, and everything else you need to get in writing.
2) How to navigate the relationship with the government agency. It can be complex but also rewarding. We will go over what you need to do to get the maximum value from the relationship.
